Inventory Autopilot ("the App") helps Shopify merchants detect slow-moving inventory, apply clearance discounts, and recover capital. This policy describes what information the App collects from your store, how it is used, and your rights.
When you install the App, we access the following data through Shopify's APIs, strictly to provide the App's features: product and inventory data (titles, variants, stock levels, prices) to detect slow-moving stock; order history (last 60 days) to calculate sales velocity; discount and price-rule data to create and manage clearance discounts you approve; and the store owner's contact details (name, email) to send the weekly digest and service messages.
Data is used solely to operate the App: detecting aging inventory, calculating trapped capital, generating discount suggestions, rendering your storefront clearance section, and sending the inventory digest you opt into. We do not sell or rent merchant or customer data to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.
Inventory analytics are retained while the App is installed. When you uninstall, Shopify sends us a deletion webhook and store data is deleted within 30 days. You may request earlier deletion at any time by emailing us.
We comply with Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact) and honor all data subject requests within the required timelines. EU/UK merchants: our lawful basis for processing is performance of contract (providing the App you installed).
All data is transmitted over TLS and stored encrypted at rest. API access uses Shopify session tokens; we follow the principle of least privilege for API scopes.
We use infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery) to operate the App. These providers process data only on our instructions. We do not share data with any other third party.
